About Jiyi Living
Jiyi Living is a design practice focused on the study of everyday forms.
Our work begins with simple observations: a shift in balance, a tension in material, a small structural behavior revealed in daily life.
We translate these observations into objects through repeated prototyping, tuning, and material testing. Some pieces become functional objects; others remain as studies, capturing a precise moment of form.
Our interest lies in the middle ground between artistic intuition and practical utility. We aim to create objects that feel both experimental and quietly useful pieces that accompany a home without dominating it.
The studio works with metal, wood, resin, and found components, allowing each material to suggest possible directions. The process is slow, iterative, and often led by the hands rather than fixed plans.
We design with the belief that a small shift can change how a space feels, and that everyday objects deserve the same attention as sculpture.

Our mark begins with a simple gesture — a curved form resting on a grounded line.
It suggests a roof, a shelter, a quiet place where objects take shape. The horizontal bar extends outward, like a note, a path, or an unfinished thought. A space open for new forms to appear. It is not a symbol of what we make, but of how we work: patient, grounded, and attentive to small shifts.
